Tallow Sun Balm

This all natural tallow based sun balm with non-nano Zinc oxide is void of toxic cancer causing chemical ingredients.

Made with a powerhouse mixture of fats, antioxidants, oils and non nano zinc oxide this sun balm offers all natural protection. In addition, this smooth, creamy formula will have your skin feeling hydrated and nourished all day long.

The oils and fats added to this formula are all photo safe to help stave off oxidisation, which causes premature skin damage and aging. It is naturally slightly tinted with cocoa powder which helps the balm blend into skin and minimise the white cast left behind. 

This sun balm is gentle and safe for the whole family, including wee babies.

SPF 15+ Broad Spectrum 

Blocking around 93% of UVB rays and meaning you can stay in the sun approx 15 times longer without burning. For example, if you usually burn after 10minutes of sun exposure you will have 150 minutes of protection. (10 minutes x 15 = 150 minutes)

Non-nano Zinc Oxide acts as a physical barrier in sun care and because of its non-nano nature, it is not absorbed in the skin but it sits on the skin and reflects, refracts and to some extent, absorbs UV rays. Our formulation contains 20% Zinc Oxide.

Olive oil is an age old secret in sun care. It contains antioxidants, including Vitamin E and polyphenols, which help keep the skin moisturised and protected. 

Red Raspberry Seed Oil is known for its ability to naturally absorb UVA and UVC rays so it’s a great addition to our sun balm. It has a high content of Vitamin E and Vitamin A and is rich in beta-carotene. It protects and prevents oxidative damage on the skin.

To use: Apply generously to your face and body 20 minutes before sun exposure.

For prolonged sun exposure reapply at least every 2 hours, after swimming and intense activity.

Ensure hands are clean and dry during application to prevent contamination or bacteria growth. 

Storage: Store out of direct sunlight. Use within 6 months of purchase.
